National Conference On “Technological Advancement and Automatization in Engineering” (NCTAA – 2016)

National Conference on Technological Advancement and Automatization in Engineering, NCTAA-2016 was held on 28th and 29th January, 2016 at Atharva College of Engineering, Malad, Mumbai.

The main objective of NCTAA-2016 was to present the research from different areas of Science and Technology. This conference provided platform for researchers and scientists across the nation to exchange their research in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science and IT. This conference also provided opportunity to interact and establish professional relations for future collaboration.

This conference was a great success under the vision of Patron Hon. Shri. Sunil Rane, Executive President, Atharva Groups of Institutes. NCTAA 2016 was provided a proper path towards success by continuous guidance and support of Advisors Dr. P. N. Nemade, Director, Atharva College of Engineering and Dr. S. P. Kallurkar, Principal, Atharva College of Engineering. The organizing Secretary Prof. Karuna Nikum, Prof. Jyoti Golakia and Prof. Yogini Bajaj had put their continuous efforts for making this conference a grand success. Co-organizing secretary was Prof. Mamta Meena and Prof. Garima Gurjar.

The conference was a big success as over 500 authors participated in the conference. About 200 papers were registered out of which 123 papers were presented. 71 papers were presented in Computer/IT domain and 52 papers were presented in ELEC/ELEX/EXTC domain. Author from our college as well as from other colleges showed up a great interest. The selected papers were published in IJSRD journal with impact factor of 4.396.
At the end of day 2, valedictory function was attended by Chief Guest Dr. Jonathan Joshi, CEO at Eduvance, Mumbai.

Day 1 : 15/2/2023 (Pre-conference workshop)

Atharva college of Engineering organized pre-conference workshop on 15.02.2023 for professionals. Keynote speakers for session and two were

Session 1: "Project to Product" by Mr.Kunj Bhatt and Mr.Sandeep Vishwakarma

They talked about their Project Drishti which was selected for Grant Support with Incubation Linkage by MHRD IIC (Published Date - 18th Nov. 21) with Grant sanctioned of 2,50000/-Rs. They interacted with students and enlightened them on their journey from a college project to an actual marketable product.

Session 2: "Project-based Learning" by Dr.Deepak Waikar

He talked about method in which students learn by actively engaging in real-world and personally meaningful projects. Developing this Project Based Learning would unleash a contagious, creative energy among students and teachers

Day 1 of International Conference on Science Technology Engineering & Mathematics for Sustainable Development (ICSTEMSD 2023) was organized on February 16, 2023. The conference was multidisciplinary in nature covering area such as Communication and Networking Applied Computing and IT: Recent Trends in Power System: Electronics Technologies: and Advanced Research in Science Technology & eLearning. Inauguration and Conference Proceedings Reveal was done by Ms. Kishori Gadre Ex. Additional Collector - Pune, Dr. Krishna Vedula- Executive Director IUCEE, Dr. P. R. Kulkarni – Professor and Head -Mechanical Engineering Department, WIT, Solapur, Dr. P. N. Nemade- Director-ACE,Dr. S. P. Kallurkar- Principal-ACE, Dr. Ritu Sharma- HOD HAS-ACE. This was followed by Keynote session and discussion on Sustainable Development by the dignitaries .Ms. Kishori talked related to National Scenario for Sustainable Development. Dr. Krishna Vedula enlightened in detail on the Topic Global Scenario for Sustainable Development. Post the inauguration of Poster Presentation session, Ms. Kishori Gadre and Dr. P. R. Kulkarni shared their experience of - Katraj Garden with the chairperson of the session as Dr.Krishna Vedula.

Day 2 of International Conference on Science Technology Engineering & Mathematics for Sustainable Development (ICSTEMSD 2023) was organized on February 17, 2023. The conference was multidisciplinary in nature covering area such as Communication and Networking Applied Computing and IT: Recent Trends in Power System: Electronics Technologies: and Advanced Research in Science Technology & eLearning .Session had esteemed Keynote speakers with experiences from various walks of Sustainable Development:
1) Dr. Jay P. Gore- Professor Purdue University on Topic - Energy Sustainability and Sustainable Development Goals.
2) Mr. Sharang Ambadkar - Founder FeelGood Econurture LLP. He talked about his journey of his start-up and Plastic Recycling.
3) Dr. RajaRao Pagidipalli Chairman - Vishwa Humanity United International Royal Council. He discussed Energy Conservation and its correlation with peace and prosperity in the society
4) Mr. Ashweni Jain Assistant Vice President Adani Electricity, Mumbai. He discussed Entropy ,Factors affecting Sustainability, Effect of Global Warming, Mumbai's shift of Monsoon Pattern, among others.

Valedictory

Valedictory Session of International Conference on Science Technology Engineering & Mathematics for Sustainable Development (ICSTEMSD 2023) was organized on February 17, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM. Report of Rapporteur was presented by Prof. Prajakta Borole and Prof. Prajakta Pawar. Concluding speech was given by Principal ACE Dr. Shrikant Kallurkar. Vote of Thanks was given by Conference Chair Dr. Ritu Sharma. Valedictory function ended with prize distribution to the winners of poster and paper presentations.

International Conference on Innovative and Advancement oftechnologies in Engineering (ICIATE-2017)

International conference on Innovative and Advancement of technologies in Engineering, ICIATE 2017 was held on 13th and 14th January, 2017 at Atharva College of Engineering, Malad, Mumbai.

ICIATE 2017 was basically based on theme IoT (Internet of Things). This conference provided platform for various researchers, scholars and scientists to present their innovative ideas in various domains. Other than IoT the domains were spread over a wide range of fields such as Communication and Networking, Applied Computing and IT, Application of Power Electronics in Power System and Machine Control, Electronics Technologies, Advanced Research in Science Technology and Learning etc.

On 12th of January, 2017 Pre – conference workshops were held on following topics:

  • Bluetooth Low Energy for Internet of Things: The theme of this workshop is based Internet of things and organized with the objective of bringing together academicians, scientists and experts, working in areas of research. This workshop focuses on both theory and applications in the broad areas of Internet of things in Electrical, Electronics & communication, computer science and Information Technology.
  • Social Learning : The theme of this workshop to empower people with a power tool that helps them access, archive, link and share their knowledge making social and informal learning intelligent and visible and thus “Democratize Learning”. To facilitate efficient social learning of the peopleby creating a power tool for use by the peopleto make social learning intelligent and visible for the people.

Inauguration of conference was carried out on 13th January, 2017. For this ceremony Chief guest Dr. Arun Nigavekar, Former Chairman, UGC & Former Vice Chancellor, University of Pune showed his immense presence and enlightened audience with his pool of knowledge. This initiated the commencement of the conference. Several papers were presented by authors from various parts of the nation. Sessions chairs carried out the judgment process with great enthusiasm. Participants also showed equal interest in poster presentation competition.
On 14th January, 2017 paper presentation completion was followed by valedictory function. Mr. R. R. Abhyankar was Chief Guest and Dr. Deepak Waikar was Guest of Honor. Many authors had submitted their papers for the conference out of which total 250 quality papers got selected for publishing the papers in IJERT journal with impact factor 1.76.

Of course we were not limited to the mentioned tracks
  • And we have also received papers from researchers in the field of Advanced Research in Science Technology and Learning.
  • The spark of knowledge related to Artificial intelligence and virtual reality was very much visible all over during the sessions.
  • With the support of reviews received by internal and external reviewers ,we accepted 290 papers and 20 posters from different zones and we have received overwhelming response from different states within and outside INDIA . We have received papers from students, research scholars, industry personalities and academicians.
