E-Cell
Ecell-NEN-: Atharva College of Engineering has an Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) called ACE EMBER since 2008. EMBER has a tie-up with National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN),Bengaluru since its inception. The faculty members of Atharva College of Engineering have been trained by experts from NEN to impart entrepreneurship skills among engineering students. Thousands of engineering students of various streams have been trained by EMBER faculty. EMBER has generated numerous start-ups and students have won various prizes at state and national level. E-Cell conducts regular meeting regarding planning of workshops, seminars and formation of committee members for various activities. E-Cell also coordinates between student’s venture and junior students who are seeking for internship.
The annual fest of Ember E-Cell is Entrepreneurship-Week (E-Week), a week long extravaganza to showcase the entrepreneurial skills of students, organize various events to bring out business skills in participants.
E-Week is a national competition where over 650 colleges participate through the affiliation of NEN & compete to create maximum impact & produce highest entrepreneurs.

- Raajneeti:
This event is our flag ship event, as it is based on this year’s theme “Innovating for India”. The event became more popular as it included both online and offline mediums. It also included rallies, public speeches, voting ballets and vote outs.Teams arranged rallies for the publicity of their parties and to receive more likes on their facebook page. Participant teams were told to perform dramas on some social topics like anti-smoking,power and electricity saving. Stage confidence and communication skills of the teams was judged and compared on the basis of their performances in debate and presentations. Participants had to use their convincing abilities and communication skills through which they got more number of likes on their facebook page. - Megapolis:
The event started with a bang, a lot of students had registered themselves for this event. The purpose of the event was to promote management skills and decision making strategies and the event stood by its expectations. The event head motivated and helped the participants with their kingdoms by giving them valuable suggestions. The participants had to rack their brains to crack the levels of the game. They learned finance management as this game required money handling skills. As the event commenced, the participants started coming and many non-registered candidates got curious and started enquiring about the event, which resulted in some on the spot registrations.

- Entrepreneurship Rally:
Entrepreneurship rally, another socio-preneurship activity, will be a rally of young students spreading the importance of entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship is a role played by or the task performed by the entrepreneur. The central task of the entrepreneur is to take moderate risk and invest money to earn profits by exploiting an opportunity. For this he must possess far-sightedness to perceive an opportunity so that he can exploit it well in time. India is being attacked by baffling problems of over population, unemployment, under-employment, poverty and the like. - Flash Mob:
Ember E-Cell of Atharva College of Engineering (ACE) had conducted a flash mob to spread awareness about “Anti-Smoking”. Our aim was to approach 2 to 3 different malls of Mumbai and perform dance acts. A team of 40 students dance twice each at Oberoi Mall in Goregaon (E) & Inorbit Mall in Malad (W). The total outreach was over 1 Lakh 50 Thousand.
