E-Yantra is a robotics outreach program funded by the Ministry of Education and hosted at IIT Bombay. The goal is to harness the talent of young engineers to solve problems using technology across a variety of domains such as: agriculture, manufacturing, defense, home, smart-city maintenance and service industries.
E-yantra cell at ACE have a vision to develop a well-equipped lab facility with a range of tools and resources for designing, building, and testing robotics systems and embedded systems. Where the lab should have several workstations equipped with microcontrollers, sensors, and other key components of robotics and automation systems. The lab should also have access to a range of simulation software for testing and refining designs. We at E-yantra ACE, encourage students and prepare them through various training sessions and conduction of different workshops for making them an efficient technical person to handle different real life problems in the area of robotics. Here we also conduct visits to the e-yantra lab at IIT Bombay for their guidance to our students. E-yantra cell encourages students to undertake innovative projects and explore cutting-edge technologies. We at E-yantra emphasize research and development in the field of robotics and embedded systems.
In addition to the above activities, we promote the use of open-source platforms and software tools in robotics education. It provides access to a rich repository of learning resources, including tutorials, documentation. This open approach enables students to explore and experiment with different technologies, fostering a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing.
Our aim is to play a significant role in nurturing the next generation of robotics and embedded systems engineers in India. By offering a platform for experiential learning, practical skill development and collaborative research. We at E-yantra ACE empowers students to become proficient in robotics and prepare them to tackle real-world challenges in a rapidly advancing technological landscape.
