E-Week 2018

Business Mela : It was one of the most popular and successful event this year, as it was primarily focused on motivating the young entrepreneur’s to start out their own business avenues through the concept of ‘Living their Entrepreneurial dream’. As the participants were provided with stalls to start out their own ventures, throughout the week students and participants not only sold their goods and services they also learned the capital need to provide services to their consumers by starting out their own innovative business schemes. Participants learned how to directly communicate with their customers and were provided with the right platform to learn how a particular business works and the key points regarding what makes a business a success.

Idea Box : The event started with participants not only from the final year, but as surprising as it sounds, first year students played a key role in making this event an experience way more motivating than ever. The general purpose of the event was to present the ideas in front of the panel of judges. The participants were given the liberty to present their idea in front of the judges as conveniently as possible.They were judged on the basis of their business model, customer validation, execution and technical design. The event showcased ideas not only related to technical fields, but the participants almost covered all the ideas that one can have in every field as possible.

Elevator’s Pitch : Elevator’s Pitch was one of the most crucial event of E’Week 2018. As it not only had participants pitching their ideas, but they were actually provided with the platform to pitch their idea in front of the Investors. Participants were given a limited time in which they needed to present their idea in front of the investors, then came the question answer session in which the Investors will ask the questions regarding the idea of the participants and if the participant is able to convince the investor with their business model, he/she will be given an immediate financial support by the investor. Participants were judged solemnly by the investor on the basis of their presentation, market research area and all.

E’week at School : E’week 18 this year not only conducted the usual awareness drives but we made sure to reachand encourage the young children in schools to start dreaming their entrepreneurial dream because we believe in starting early and educating them with the need of being a job creator, not a job seeker. Our team visited various schools in town to educate the young children in the name of ‘E’Week at School’

Adopt the Village : One of the key social campaign conducted by the Ember E’cell was Adopt the village.The team of the committee visited a village named Kelwa this year in order to educate the villagers regarding the need of entrepreneurship in their village. How they can easily make their livestock and earn an explicit amount of income through various job opportunities they can create in their village itself. Our teams of heads made sure to survey each and every village houses to help them in the right vision of entrepreneurial India.

Tech Pitch : E-Week’18 provided various means to the students to showcase their entrepreneurial ideas. One such means of doing so was through the event called Tech Pitch. Here the participants were provided a platform to showcase their technical projects and ideas in front of the masses and to make people aware about the importance of innovation and development. The main aim of this event was to embrace and evaluate the creative mindset of the upcoming youth.

Idea Generation : The IDEA GENERATION activity conducted by Ember E-Cell aims at unlocking the minds of the youth in order to develop them into the entrepreneurs of tomorrow. It provides a healthy platform to the students to showcase their business ideas and identity their potential.

Some of the key activities performed during E-WEEK include a PANEL DISCUSSION and ASK THE ENTREPRENEUR session.
Panel Discussion brings forth a panel of budding and experienced businessmen inspiring students by sharing their views and life experiences.
Further, Ask the Entrepreneur session gives the students a chance to put forth their queries and thoughts in front of the visiting entrepreneur and get them evaluated.
